Age:18 Location and Timezone: DFW, TX Tell us about yourself outside of the game. What are your other interests? I love playing soccer, and I'm currently learning the guitar, but im pretty bad at that since I just started about a month ago! but im improving pretty fast haha. I go to school at the University of Texas at Arlington and I'm majoring in Software Engineering, I am also currently working at a local rubber manufacturing company Part-time as a Network Admin. I'm absolutely love being competitive in every game I play, I currently play a lot of WoW/PUBG and I used to play a tooon of CSGO. I also play a few other games that everyone else plays, but I don't really play those competitively, or often at that matter. (league, diablo 3 etc.)
(I wanted to add a note here about my 2 Mythic Parses, honestly, they were an absolute mess, as about half the raid was pugged, seriously very sloppy kills, and I can assure you that neither of those 2 parses, are indicative of my ability as a player.)
How did you hear about teamLUST, and what made you consider applying? Saw your guild on wowprogress.
Will you be able to maintain 90% attendance? - Easily
What, if any, conflicts do you anticipate with this schedule? -Possibly, I might have a midterm, or final that might conflict at some point, but I will be sure to let you guys know ahead of time if that is the case.
Describe your overall guild history from what you remember, starting when you began raiding. Why did you leave or why were you removed from previous guilds? I started playing the game in WoD, as I'm pretty young, I didn't start playing until I could make the subscription payments myself. So my history is pretty short.
I started playing a month before HFC release, and I was still learning my class, and how to play the game, I got 3/11m from pugging, but I honestly don't consider anything I did in this expansion significant or relevant as I was still learning the game.
At the end of WoD, I Joined <Dishonored> and transferred from Stormrage-Alliance to Area52 Horde. The first expac I played, and the first raid I played seriously I cleared 7/7m CE Top 500 US.
After some guild roster issues, I joined High Five, and I was trialing for them going into Nighthold, however I had to take a hiatus after that, due to transitioning to college and adjusting as I had just graduated High School.
I came back from my hiatus about a month and a half ago, and been playing more than I ever have, I have the biggest lust(haha) to get cutting edge on every single tier from here out.
What was your favorite raiding experience? What did you learn?
My favorite raiding experience was progressing on Mythic Cenarius and wiping a ton on that boss, and finally getting it after a couple of lockouts, I absolutely loved having a job(clearing brambles) that was I could be counted on 100% for, I love that responsibility, and I love removing the pressure of of others if I can, also its partially because I trust 100% that I will get my job done.
I learned alot during my first raid tier, from how to really dig deep into my logs to improve myself, to working and trusting my guildies to do their part in the raid,
More about you:
What motivates you to raid in a mythic progression guild? What drives you to keep raiding? What drives you to be the best player you can be?
I believe I can answer all 3 of these with the same response, as they're all for the same reason, I love to see myself, and my guild progress higher and higher on WoW progress compared to other guilds, and I absolutely love to finally kill bosses that are regarded as some of the hardest, and in striving to do that, I HAVE to be the best player I can be. t also just love to be one of the best players playing my class regardless, striving to push higher in logs when stuff is on farm and beating out other rogues is such a an feeling it's almost unbeatable.
What would you consider to be your best and worst qualities?-My best and worse qualities are the same quality(also lmao at that cliche)- I'm a super competitive player, I really strive to be the best, and this can be good, in many ways, but also bad in that, I spend wayyyyyyyyy too much time trying to be the best, instead of really enjoying myself.(Don't get me wrong, I get alot of my fun from being competitive and I do enjoy the game a TON, but I would definitely say that some people have more fun than me because they do not strive for the same level of gameplay.
How much time do you put into the game outside of raiding and how do you feel about Mythic+ dungeons? I love mythic plus dungeons, if I'm not raiding then I'm more than likely doing mythic+. I put in nearly all my free time when im off from school work and work, which is still a significant amount, I play A TON still.
