Age: 23
Location and Timezone: Central US
Tell us about yourself outside of the game. What are your other interests? I’m a large fan of many other competitive digital games and tabletops. I’m often either online or off playing some board game with friends

Character Information

Do you have any relevant alts or previous mains we should know about? Caeleise, Mage HFC-ToV. Takø, Hunter ToV-NH now named Valle.

Include relevant Warcraft Log parses: All personal logs, from HFC to Ant pugs. Includes Guild logs on old Characters
Specific to Vodka: H Argus Pug:

How did you hear about teamLUST, and what made you consider applying? Guild Recruitment forums
Will you be able to maintain 90% attendance? Yes
What, if any, conflicts do you anticipate with this schedule? None apparent
Describe your overall guild history from what you remember, starting when you began raiding. Why did you leave or why were you removed from previous guilds? Started raiding back in Late Wrath, pushed through early Cata through variety of guilds. Stopped raiding until WoD. Cleared WoD content through multiple guilds before coming to The Varden in late HFC. Cleared EN, 2/3 ToV and through Botanist NH with Varden before leadership actions caused me to take another break from organized raiding, sticking to PuGs through late NH, Tomb, and Antorus on various alts
What was your favorite raiding experience? What did you learn? ICC remains my favorite raid experience. There were a large variety of fights that challenged each different role uniquely and still remained a very comfortable difficulty curve.

More about you

What motivates you to raid in a mythic progression guild? What drives you to keep raiding? What drives you to be the best player you can be? I’m a competitive player by nature. I raid to progress, and once progression is over I raid to parse. While I do remain grounded in goals, I’d almost always rather work towards being more competitive than taking a more casual route.
What would you consider to be your best and worst qualities? Try not to mention things already in this application: My best quality is my drive, when I get hooked on something, like a class or fight I will dig into it and really try to perfect that one aspect. On the other hand, the thing that annoys me the most is when simple things, or previous issues that have been resolved. It often gets under my skin when people, including myself, do these things repetitively.
How much time do you put into the game outside of raiding and how do you feel about Mythic+ dungeons? Presently, not much on Vodka. Outside of the weekly +15 there’s not much to gain. If I had a consistent team to farm higher level M+s I would, but puging them is rough enough. I’m a large fan of the M+ structure in general. I spend most of my non-raiding, non-prep time either preparing and gearing alts, playing other games, or researching class specifics.

Do you have any questions or final comments for us?
I would prefer to be judged on my previous mains when looking at specific damage metrics. I believe myself to be a competent player, but understand my Warlock logs are not top tier. While not excuse them, I’d like to point to the idea that there are in PuGs of questionable quality and in them I still perform mechanics properly and do well within iLvl brackets.
