Age: 27 Location and Timezone: Texas CST! Tell us about yourself outside of the game. What are your other interests? I'm a guy that just tries to be the best at everything. Whether it's card games, work, or even eating challenges. But I'll never boast about it. Being competitive is just something I've kind of embraced over the years.
Character Name: Miirari Battletag: Liam#1393 Working Armory Link:http://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/malganis/Miirari Class and Specialization: Warrior - Arms Do you have any relevant alts or previous mains we should know about? Not particularly. I did raid previously on my monk. Provide a screenshot in an active combat situation, preferably a raid:https://i.imgur.com/XLx2IzZ.jpg Include relevant Warcraft Log parses: I haven't raided since Mythic Nighthold and a lot of my parses were private so this is what I can provide.
How did you hear about teamLUST, and what made you consider applying? Adoration is one of my friends! And I really like the competitive-casual balance. Will you be able to maintain 90% attendance? Absolutely. I specifically asked for those times off. What, if any, conflicts do you anticipate with this schedule? Other than holidays, nothing. Describe your overall guild history from what you remember, starting when you began raiding. Why did you leave or why were you removed from previous guilds? I've been doing end-game raiding since Molten Core. Even if I wasn't the best player back then, I've always tried to improve myself and lead by example even if I wasn't a leader.
I started looking for an end-game guild in Legion during a month after Emerald Nightmare came out. I didn't expect to raid as much as I had used to but I really loved progressing and it gave me the drive back. I decided to apply to a Top 50 US guild after that but my time there was cut short as I moved across the country and haven't stabilized until recently. I look forward to bringing the same drive to Antorus.
What was your favorite raiding experience? What did you learn? My favorite experience was Ulduar. I was in a guild that raided only twice a week but we got really serious during those days. Outside of that it was a ribbing but friendly environment that was really alt-friendly. I haven't been able to replicate that since but that's the type of environment I always lean towards.
More about you
What motivates you to raid in a mythic progression guild? What drives you to keep raiding? What drives you to be the best player you can be? Constant analysis. The attention to small details. Asking myself what I could do better at xyz with abc. Hearing everyone screaming in voice chat at the end of the raid tier is the best feeling in video games. It's always so genuine. What would you consider to be your best and worst qualities? Try not to mention things already in this application: I'm always looking to see what I can do to better myself. Finding literature from better players, seeing how I can mirror them. Experimenting just to find the answer to something on obvious or called wipes.
I dislike criticism. I know it's necessary. And I don't mean I dislike it because I would violently rebuke. Rather than myself making it constructive, I get solemn with only yes or no answers. I need to improve myself by making it a dialogue. How much time do you put into the game outside of raiding and how do you feel about Mythic+ dungeons? I always want to keep my character at the top of their game, especially alts. I haven't had a good Mythic+ dungeon group since Emerald Nightmare. I really miss it and if finding that elusive gear piece helps the raid, I'm all for it.
Do you have any questions or final comments for us? I'm just ready to be evaluated and hope to join you guys for a long time!
